Imprints of Everyday Life: A Mixed Media Workshop
HOSTED BY GUEST ARTIST SUSAN DU
SATURDAY, JUN 20TH / 1 - 4PM
FREE
Experiment with textures to create personal works of art using acrylic paint, ink, imprints, and collage. Guest artist Susan Du combines sensory exploration with visual storytelling at this free community event!
Starting from natural materials (such as leaves and natural textures) and everyday objects (such as fabrics, threads, fruits, and found textures), participants will explore imprinting and collage techniques to gradually construct artworks that reflect personal meaning and experience.
Note: No prior art experience is required. This workshop is open to anyone interested in creative practice and material experimentation.
Materials (optional):
Participants are welcome (but not required) to bring personal materials related to their own experiences, such as fabric, letters, small found objects, or other safe and non-toxic items. These materials can be incorporated into their artwork to deepen personal expression.
Participants are also welcome (but not required) to bring their own paints, such as watercolor or acrylic, if they wish to work with familiar materials.
