The Summer Arts Festival is an annual event hosted by Contracommon on the Hill Country Galleria’s central plaza in the early summer months. This festival directly supports the emerging artists and makers of Central Texas by connecting them with a huge community of art lovers throughout west Austin and the Hill Country. Our fourth annual Summer Arts Festival will be back and bigger than ever with room for 35+ artist vendors, live music, the Children’s Art Garden for free family art activities. We’re expecting a crowd of over 2k guests!
Contracommon is looking for help with many types of activities, throughout the day of the festival:
parking and traffic direction
load-in and load-out support for vending artists
map and direction assistance for guests
hospitality — keeping artists hydrated and happy
and much more!
