The Summer Arts Festival is Contracommon’s biggest event of the year. On the day of the festival, an average of 1,500 of our community members gather to celebrate local art and music. Attendees leave feeling inspired, and artists get to make authentic connections with art-lovers outside of their established networks. This inclusive event has something for everyone! Throughout the day you'll hear live music from your favorite local bands while enjoying cold, complementary drinks. In the Art Garden, the Bee Cave Arts Foundation and The Art Garage are hosting free art activities for kids of all ages. Of course, walking through rows of booths filled with work from talented artists, attendees have the opportunity to meet artists and take home their beautiful work.

The Hill Country Galleria has generously donated their central plaza as a space to host the Summer Arts Festival. This is allows us to keep the costs down for individual artists participating as vendors at the festival. Contracommon wouldn't be able to make an impact without our partnerships with local businesses and organizations. We rely on the support of our community members and sponsors to produce events like this—completely free for everyone to attend. Free refreshments, live music all day, comfortable seating, lawn games and art activities for families, and more, come at a cost.

There are a variety of levels of support available for local businesses and organizations, including exclusive branding of our festival activations—the Live Music Stage, the Children's Art Garden, and the Festival Lounge + Bar. This event is advertised through multiple avenues, with assistance from The Hill Country Galleria, and all sponsors and participants are highlighted through social media posts and the printed festival catalog.
