Join Iris Rylander of Allegory Handmade for this beginner-friendly workshop, all about the basics of lino-carving and block printing! We’ll talk about relief printing techniques, experiment with a few different methods for preparing the linoleum block, get the hang of Contracommon’s new printing press, and learn how to print by hand at home with some standard kitchen utensils.
Supplies included with registration. All you need to bring is an idea for a simple sketch to play and print with! No printmaking experience is necessary. This workshop is intended for artists aged 18 and up.
