ABOUT

Brock Caron graduated from Texas State University with a BFA in drawing. He is currently living and working in Austin, TX. On any given day (pre-COVID), you could find him at a dive bar with a few dollars in the jukebox set to play songs that are much sadder than he ever is. He is the founder of the Broken Fingers Club, a group of artists and photographers who previously made a lot of noise in East Austin and continue to create work across the country.

Brock’s work does not have a singular focus and is instead a mashup of ideas—from found imagery, old music, deep-dive subculture research, vernacular typography, and regional history to things like road-side attractions—that he makes into his own world. His work ranges from small works on paper to large installation work. Currently, he is exploring wood cut-out illustrations and relief printing.
